About Us

The Golden Swoop is made up of a group of students at Nazareth University who decided to revive the student newspaper. We are very excited to bring back this student-led organization and write on various topics involving on-campus news, off-campus news, and pop culture.

We strive to enhance the close-knit community at Nazareth by writing about and sharing diverse stories from the many walks of life that can be found in our students and faculty. Through the pieces we share, we hope to inform and inspire Nazareth students to get involved on campus and explore all that Rochester has to offer.

Our goal is to bring you the latest happenings in our community and highlight student work. We work together to encourage hands-on learning and creativity for our team.
